Urban Decay | Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette

If you're an ULTA member, you should've received one of their recent catalogs and emails about their latest deals. One of which was the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette for only $39 so I swung by ULTA and saved $19! What a great deal. I'm gonna be honest, originally, I didn't want this eyeshadow palette because the colors seemed so dull and then there were 4 bold ones. A couple months back, my Aunt Laura wanted me to come over to her house to do her makeup because she was going to a concert and wanted to get all glammed up. Of course, I said yes! She wanted me to use her makeup and I was shocked to see how much she had! In that collection, included this palette. She wanted a blue smokey eye so I decided to use "Danger" on the lid, a little of "Punk" as a transition/in-between color and some "Stark" and "Anaheim" in the crease. I even highlighted her brow bone and inner corner with "Bathwater" for a nice, little glow. To my surprise, this palette was EXTREMELY pigmented! Not only that but it was sooo smooth and easy to blend. After I used it on her, I wanted it so bad. Not only are the shadows amazing but the packaging is gorgeous and very sturdy.

This was the perfect opportunity to grab it since it was on sale, so I went right into ULTA and snatched it off the shelf. Don't get me wrong, I could've purchased it whenever I wanted to, but I love a good bargain! No matter how much money you have, bargaining is always a great thing to do!

Right off the bat you can tell that they worked just as hard on the eyeshadow as they did on the packaging. One light swipe and you get a ton of pigment on your finger/brush. My favorite shade would probably have to be "Baby" for the shimmer and "Punk" for the matte. All the colors are stunning but these 2 speak to me the most, lol. The packaging is heavy and I love heavy packaging for some reason, it feels more solid and sturdy! The main color of the packaging is gold which is gorgeous, on the front has this wooden looking label that says UD|Gwen Stefani and then these little circles all over the front that look like records. The box is just as beautiful and the inside has pink with white polka dots! It also came with 4 samples out of the 8 lipsticks from that line. I got "Rock Steady" (cream), "714" (mega matte), "Ex-Girlfriend" (Sheer) and "Firebird" (cream) which I can't wait to try out as well!

My overall rating for this product would definitely be 5 stars from actual product quality to packaging and all! It's a perfect 'go-to' palette whether you're feeling neutral or bold, it's all in this palette. Great job Urban Decay and Gwen Stefani :)
